Travel Tip of the Week: Secure articles in over head

Every time I see someone placing a bag that does not close into an overhead I shudder.  Today my fears (well, someone else’s actually) were realized.  As I was waiting to deplane someone opened the overhead in front of me an a laptop fell out.  The person behind it reacted quickly and saved the laptop, but that could have been a bad situation for the owner.

Zip your bags when they go into an overhead.  Be careful when placing bags without zippers or buttons in the overhead.
