Am I reading this correctly that I do not need to pay for the flight with the card? If so, how would I make sure to not be charged for the bag?
In my experience, just having the Dividend Miles number associated with the card on the ticket conveys the other perks. Before I had status with US I got the card, booked all my tickets with my company’s AMEX, but still got Zone 2 boarding because the DM# associated with the card was the same one on the ticket.
