How buying a bottle of water saved my trip

Yesterday I had to stop at the ATM to deposit some money before going to the airport.  I forgot to put my wallet back into my laptop bag after that.  I entered the terminal, cleared security, then went to buy a bottle of water because I didn’t bring my Kleen Kanteen.  I started to pay for my purchase when I realized I didn’t have a wallet on me.  I still had 30 minutes before boarding so I managed to get back out to my car, get my wallet and reclear security.

Just imagine if I hadn’t realized that until I landed at my connection.
